The room smelled of mothballs and Bengay, which indicated to all that the school was old. The walls were rejecting the paint by pushing it off so that it rolled down like a sock that lost its elasticity. The windows gave better views in yesteryears. The floors had one wax job too many causing them to look overly worn down. This particular classroom was cramped with oversized tables and chairs serving as an office/training room. The door banged loudly announcing that someone either entered or left the room.
